In it, John Ratey covers what exactly happens in the brain when you exercise and how it is beneficial for kids, adults, seniors, and everyone in between. Each chapter highlights a particular issue that exercise can help treat, from ADHD and Anxiety to Depression and Female Hormone Cycles. Throughout, he discusses the research findings that support his assertions and explains it all in an easy-to-follow format. Highly recommend.
